Do you have a background in plant sciences or biology and would you like to work at the crossroads of R&D and sales in an international agricultural environment? Then this is your chance to join Centor Europe as a Technical Specialist Seedcoating,- a pioneer in sustainable seed coating technologies.

In this role, you will divide your time between our laboratory in Andijk and customer visits across Europe. You will translate innovative laboratory results into practical applications on seed processing machines, working with sunflower, maize, grass, and vegetable seeds, among others. You will support product introductions and carry out scale-up trials at customer sites. Acting as the link between R&D, the commercial team, and the customer, you ensure that technical innovations are successfully implemented. About a quarter of your time will be spent traveling within Europe together with account managers visiting customers, conducting trials, providing technical training, and advising on the use of seedcoating technologies.

Responsibilities

• Testing seed coating formulations and applications on various crops
• Developing and improving protocols and application procedures
• Conducting scale-up trials for customers in the Netherlands and abroad
• Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting technical data
• Translating research results into valuable customer solutions
• Providing technical support during product introductions and customer projects
• Delivering training to customer teams on the use of coatings and machines
• Acting as the link between R&D and commercial teams in product development
• Feeding back practical insights into R&D for continuous improvement
• Managing (EU) subsidy projects, including costs and reporting
