Bactoforce is today the leading supplier of integrity inspections of processing equipment in the food sector. The inspections are aimed to locate mechanical defects and insufficient hygiene of tanks, spray dryers, heat exchangers / pasteurisers to contribute to product safety. Our customers produce dairy products, baby food, beer, beverages, medicine and ingredients. We are today servicing some of the leading food brands in Europe. The number of annual inspections is approx. 12,000 and are growing rapidly. Bactoforce, part of MLZ group, has approximately 60 employees spread over 6 countries.

Functieomschrijving

The Head of Technical Management will be the technical lead within Bactoforce and the technical point of contact for our area organizations. The role includes responsibility for ensuring reliable and harmonized standards for our service delivery across the operating areas. Furthermore, a key focus will be on innovating our service portfolio and project management of technical initiatives. The Technical Manager report directly to the Managing Director of Bactoforce.

Your Key Responsibilities are:

• Define and implement standards for inspection methodes, processes, and reporting to ensure reliablity, effectiveness and safety;
• Provide technical support to Service Managers, Area Managers, and Sales Managers, offering guidance and assistance in daily operations;
• Maintain and validate inspection technologies, ensuring they remain up-to-date and fit for purpose;
• Facilitate the implementation of inspection methods and technologies in various regions and support the development of new services and applications;
• Serve as the technical point of contact for key suppliers, negotiating agreements and managing relationships;
• Participate in the maintenance and development of QHSE documentation, including certification according to ISO 9001 and internal audits;
• Coordinate internal training programs for inspectors and define purchase standards for inspection tools and assets;
• Take corrective actions related to any deviations and drive the implementation of safety standards to achieve a zero-accident policy;
• Focus on innovating our service portfolio and project management of technical initiatives.
