At respeggt group, headquartered in both Germany and the Netherlands, we face the complex challenge of ending chick culling each and every day.
Since our founding in 2019, our international, highly motivated team, with expertise in the agricultural sciences, agricultural engineering, the economic sciences and IT, are passionate about keeping our promise “Free of Chick Culling”. In this endeavour, we are supported by our numerous strong partners – with new partners joining us every day. Up till now, we are responsible for already having delivered more than one billion respeggt eggs and more than five million respeggt laying hens into the supply chains of table egg production. Our technology is continuously being developed by our team in the Netherlands to ensure it is even more precise and efficient.
Functieomschrijving
“Free of chick culling" is the promise of respeggt, based in the Netherlands and Germany. We help egg producers end the culling of millions of chicks, using SELEGGT technology to determine the gender of hatching eggs. We also set frameworks for supply chains to award the “Free of chick culling" guarantee and award the respeggt label “Free of chick culling".
We are an international, highly motivated team with diverse expertise in agriculture, business management and IT, working to end the culling of male chicks with a wealth of experience in the poultry industry and strong partners.
Your role with us
- Contact person for the entire SELEGGT technology for the hatchery site (sorting robot, sexing machine, laboratory and others)
- Independent installation of the machines as well as verification of functionality
- Setup of software as well as data analysis and maintenance of the data website
- Preparation of detailed defect reports as well as improvement suggestions for the process
- Fault prevention and troubleshooting during production
- Organizing and checking the cleaning of the machines
- Preparation of work instructions for our colleagues

Wij vragen
What we are looking for:
- A completed technical education
- Know-How in electrical engineering/mechanics as well as in IT topics
- Interest and affinity for biological processes in a hatchery
- Driving license class B
- Fluent in English, Dutch is an advantage
- Your personality: Sense of responsibility, assertiveness, flexibility as well as a conscientious way of working in a dynamically developing environment
