What will you be doing?
A lot of beautiful things! As a Service Technician - you can also write Field Service Engineer on LinkedIn - you can count on the fact that our clients love to see you. You will visit customers, especially hatcheries and in-ovo locations, to solve technical problems and carry out maintenance.
As a Service Technician, you will serve customers within the Europe region. Travelling is a cool part of your job.
In this job, service and technique come together nicely. Are you service-oriented, good at communication and do you have broad technical knowledge? Then we are looking for you!
Our customers are companies that have embraced our innovative technology. That makes your work extra interesting. The type of technology you will encounter is very diverse. Electrical, control technology, mechanical: you can be sure that you will come across it all. And you will know what to do with it!
- As a service technician, you are not the business card of HatchTech, but the signboard.
- On site, you will maintain and optimize
- the HatchTech incubators and climate, heating and cooling systems
- the HatchTech chick transport systems
- the In-Ovo selection systems
- You will analyze malfunctions, either on site (during routine checks) or via remote dial-up.
- You will solve and answer technical questions from the customer.
- You advise and explain the technical service of customers
- You will draw up a report of the contact or visit for the customer visited and internally
- After your visit (or remote assistance), our (breeding) machines run like clockwork again. If you do your job well, then our customers - fortunately for us only figuratively - will walk away with you!

- If you are a starter, your starting salary will be € 2.700,-. If you build up work experience with us, you can count on advancing to the salary of an experienced level.
- During travel, you will receive € 68,- net per full day abroad. That’s a nice plus.
- You will receive a smartphone which you can also use privately.
- You get 26 days of holiday and if that is not enough for your travel adventures, you can choose for 13 ADV days extra (both based on fulltime).

Who are we looking for?
We do not think it is important how much work experience you have. We are open to both starters and experienced candidates. We are looking for a communicative and technical genius. A confident troubleshooter. Someone as technical as Messi, but with his or her hands. Is that you? If you can tick the following boxes, we think so!
- If you have no or little work experience, we ask for a finished technical MBO education.
- Practical minded HBO graduates are also welcome to respond!
- If you already have work experience and demonstrable affinity with this job, we do not ask for specific prior education.
- You like to work independently. You will be on the road alone, so you can decide what music you play.
- You're the perfect HatchTech ambassador with your appearance.
- You speak and type English well. Dutch is not required. German skills is an advantage.
- You have a B driving license in your wallet.
- We are based in Veenendaal, it is a requirement that you live not to far from Veenendaal.
