Pop Vriend Seeds is a specialized seed breeding company in the Netherlands. Which exports vegetable seeds to more than 100 countries worldwide, including the United States, China and Africa. It is headquartered in Andijk, in the heart of Seed Valley.

In 2019, Pop Vriend Seeds joined forces with KWS Seeds of Einbeck, Germany. KWS is one of the world's largest independent seed companies with an impressive track record of quality breeding and continuous technical innovation. Functieomschrijving

As Global Supply Planner for the fruity crops: tomato, pepper, watermelon, melon and cucumber. Your most important role is to keep the overview so that we can be sure to meet customer demand. That is why you will frequently speak with your sales colleagues to know what is needed in our various sales regions and to review if any productions need to be started. Together with your team members, you oversee all supply chain processes and ensure that our customers receive what is promised.

Your responsibilities:

• You know when each variety is needed an whether it can be deliverd;
• You communicate with sales if a variety cannot be delivered and you discuss a possible distribution;
• You have the overview of which varieties may need to be produced and make a proposal of how much that would be. In addition, you determine when the seed should come in and what preconditions are required;
• In consultation with your fellow team members you discuss the quality requirements;
• Because we are a start-up unit you will also regularly take over tasks from your teammates;
• You maintain contact with various departments like sales, product management, and customer service.
